Pond & Cinnamon Set Of 2 Sauce Prep Condiment Cups Ceramic Pottery Wheel-Thrown Black & Brown Wares

$15

Set of 2 Wheel-Thrown Ceramic Sauce · Prep · Condiment Cups · Sake Cups Rustic Elegance - Pond and Cinnamon Collection Approximate measurements: Diameters at rim: 2-1/4", and 2-3/8" Heights: 1-1/4", and 1-3/8" These are finely-thrown thin-walled sauce/prep cups. Great for premeasuring or serving herbs, syrups, soy sauce, oils, compotes, dressings, condiments, spices, sake and more. These little cups are so handy in the kitchen and at the table. Inside is glazed with an earthy speckly cinnamon brown, the outside glazed with glossy lustrous transparent black (reminds me of a lily pond) . Each cup is scribed "2012 gem" underneath the foot. Food-safe, microwave, and dishwasher safe. Hand-washing is recommended due to its size, unless your dishwasher is designed to handle small items. This time I used different clays for each cup. One is a stoneware, the other a white stoneware close to porcelain, but they're hard to tell apart. Both worked up beautifully and finely, and took to the glazes similarly. I throw my pottery without the use of molds or guides, so size, shape, and porportion will vary. The glazes are fired on to around 2200 degrees Fahrenheit for a glossy water-tight finish. Any imperfections are part of the characteristic and charm of handmade work.

Self Representing Artisan SRA #F71 in the U.S. specializing in, but not limited to, lampwork glass beads and jewelry, ceramics and pottery, knit and crochet, home-sewn fashion and other handcrafted items.

I work in a wide range of media and styles to fit many needs. I love working closely with clients to achieve something really unique and special whether it's for a gift, business, or personal enjoyment.

I work glass in the torch flame to create ornate beads, wearable art, tiny sculptures, and vessels. I'm known for intricate scrolls and florals on dainty elegant beads. From classic, to formal, to whimsical. I love to explore it all.

I also throw pottery on the wheel and especially love to create practical items with a timeless artful touch. From refined to rustic, form and function. Everyday items for home, kitchen, decor, dining, bar, restaurant, and winery. From long stem wine glasses to a favorite coffeemug. Let's create something special in ceramic that will outlast just about any other material through time.

If you love to cozy up with unique hand knitted and crocheted accessories, blankets, and garments, great because I always keep my hands busy and have yarn and a sticks close by. From baby hats, booties, and toys, to folkwear slippers, elegant scarves, hoods and shrugs. Knit and crochet is an essential part of many fashionistas' wardrobes, and almost all of us grew up with a special handmade afghan or blankie. Let's make it unique, make it personal.

I cannot wait to hear the project you have in mind so I can help bring your idea into reality!
