Bright red and white hand sculpted flower button beads. No two exactly alike. Great for cocktail rings, clasps, wired focals, links, whatever you can think of! Or maybe strung onto oblong hoop earrings with a couple Bali beads or caps on either side…I'd love to see what you come up with. 2 lampwork glass button beads Approx 3cm (1 1/8") across Formed on 1/16" mandrels Hand flameworked by me, Gem, in my Tampa Bay, FL studio. I individually create each bead by melting and manipulating glass in the torch flame. The hot beads are then immediately transferred into my kiln soaking at 950-1050°F and then slowly cooled down overnight by a digital controller, thereby aligning its crystalline structure and relieving molecular stress, for strength and longevity.

I work glass in the torch flame to create ornate beads, wearable art, tiny sculptures, and vessels. I'm known for intricate scrolls and florals on dainty elegant beads. From classic, to formal, to whimsical. I love to explore it all.

I also throw pottery on the wheel and especially love to create practical items with a timeless artful touch. From refined to rustic, form and function. Everyday items for home, kitchen, decor, dining, bar, restaurant, and winery. From long stem wine glasses to a favorite coffeemug. Let's create something special in ceramic that will outlast just about any other material through time.

If you love to cozy up with unique hand knitted and crocheted accessories, blankets, and garments, great because I always keep my hands busy and have yarn and a sticks close by. From baby hats, booties, and toys, to folkwear slippers, elegant scarves, hoods and shrugs.
