Daniel Lafferty is a Chester County, PA based artist.
He is a full time contemporary painter who graduated from The University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA with a degree in Fine Arts and Animation.
Daniel formed his art company ‘LFA Studios’ after graduation and has been selling his original paintings for over 8 years. He has sold over 2,000 original pieces to collectors around the world. Daniel has experimented with texture and movement in nearly every medium available but prefers to paint with acrylics on canvas. Drawing influence from masters such as Van Gogh and Monet, Lafferty enjoys creating heavily textured abstract impressionist pieces including landscapes, impasto florals, and metallic abstracts.
Daniels painting 'Ripples of Jade' was selected to appear on set during the filming of the 2009 Hollywood film 'The Unborn', directed by David Goyer and produced by Michael Bay. In addition, his painting 'Melting Night' was selected as part of internationally renowned interior designer Barclay Buteras 'Park Avenue' collection. He is a member of the Chester County Art Association and recently received the Peoples Choice Award for his body of work in the ‘Paint The Town - West Chester’ juried art show. Daniels art is increasing in value and he can assure you that you are making a great investment!
