This 9" by 12", unframed acrylic painting, is of a brightly multicolored Fantasy bird in shades of blue, red, peach, yellow, purple, and orange. This bird exists only in the mind of the artist. The Fantasy bird is perched on a tree limb intently watching a green inchworm for breakfast. The tree is gnarled and knotted; dead, but well textured. Blues and yellows depict the upcoming day's sky, and the greens at the bottom give a sense of summer. The canvas has been sprayed with clear acrylic gloss varnish to keep the colors bright, and has been signed by the artist. This painting ships flat in a no-bend cardboard box.
