Rockers aren't just for old folks in our high stress world. They work wonders for all of us. I reweave the worn seats with neckties. The bottoms look as good as the top. A cushion can be added underneath the weave for comfort. And some lavender from my garden for relaxation. I have plenty of ties to match your decor. If you have a particular interest, I probably have a tie I can weave in to customize. Or use your ties to create a family heirloom. Email me and I'll send you pictures of my current frame selection.

Rush-seated chairs wear out. Nantucket Tie Chic reweaves those seats with neckties. I can make you a custom chair, footstool or child's rocker with your loved ones old ties! Or I can use mine, customizing colors, themes and personal enthusiasms. For instance, a sailor could have a sailboat tie woven in. My ties and chair/stool frames are all upcycled. if you have a specific idea of what you want--I can do it! I've recently sold a tuffet with the top covered in tie tips. If your chairs have separate seats, they can be shipped to me and redone. Cushions can be added under the weave, too.

For Rustic FootstoolMeg was absolutely fantastic! She made a rustic footstool from my husband's ties. He died last year, and Meg has made a truly beautiful piece of art and has brought me joy in the midst of sadness. I could tell from her emails that she is a remarkable woman, and the stool represents her talent and her heart. Thank you, Meg Glidden!!
