Black Cat Print for 8 x 10 Frame, Matted - Shelter Cat with Green and Purple Scroll Background - 10% Benefits Animal Charities This sweet shelter bunny - rabbit art print is an open edition giclee of my original oil painting "Bunny in Waiting". The print was professionally printed on fine watercolor paper by a local imaging company, using archival inks rated to last a lifetime. This animal art reproduction comes with a certificate of authenticity which has been signed and dated by me. The overall image measures 6 x 12 inches and it is matted with a blush and black acid free double mat board (see second image), suitable for framing in a 12 x 18 inch standard sized frame. It is enclosed with a foam core backing and cellophane wrapper. When shipped, it will be reinforced with additional cardboard to ensure it arrives safely. This painting was inspired by a bunny available for adoption at Jackson County Animal Shelter in Phoenix, OR. As with all of my work, 10% of the sales price is donated to animal rescue groups and charities. For this print, the donation will go to this animal shelter, where I am also a volunteer. I am an oil painter, focused completely on animal paintings - pets and other animals. I paint from photographs (they must be yours/mine/or others without copyright issues) in a realistic style on bold backgrounds, and enjoy capturing the amusing and endearing expressions of the animal. I departed a 20-year corporate career in 2006 to spend time on volunteer activities and art. I am now the proud mom to four former shelter dogs (a side benefit to volunteering at the shelter) and paint from my home studio (a remodeled carriage house in my backyard) and at the Ashland Art Center on Main Street.
Ten percent of my sales are donated to local animal rescue groups and charities where I am a volunteer - Jackson County Animal Shelter, Sanctuary One, and Equamore Horse Sanctuary. I am also a member of HeARTs Speak, the Ashland Gallery Association and The Canine Art Guild.
