Border Collie Art - Smooth Coated Border Collie - Dog Art Print - Giclee Framed Print 8 x 8 - 10% Proceeds to Animal Rescue This framed Border Collie art print is a limited edition giclee of my original oil painting of my own Border Collie "Remy". Remy started out as my foster dog, but somehow ended up as part of our pack! I painted the original painting when I was advertising him as available for adoption. The print is 5 inches square but 4.5 inches square are visible in the double matting, which is a tumbleweed (sand) color with a charcoal inner mat. It is framed in a 8 x 8 inch black low profile frame with a sawtooth hanger & comes with a certificate of authenticity which has been signed and dated by me. This is print #4 in a series of 125, which includes a variety of sizes up to 8 x 8 on canvas and paper. It is professionally printed by a local company using archival inks to last a lifetime. As with all of my work, 10% of the sales price is donated to animal rescue groups. For this piece, the donation will be made to Jackson County Animal Shelter in Phoenix, OR where I volunteer on Saturdays. Please note that the image of my painting above is protected by copyright law. Any reproduction or copying of the image is illegal. This copyright will not transfer with the sale of this work. Note about shipping: I look for the most cost-effective shipping method for your purchase and refund shipping fees if you have overpaid by a dollar or more. I am an oil painter, focused completely on animal paintings - pets and other animals. I paint from photographs (they must be yours/mine/or others without copyright issues) in a realistic style on bold backgrounds, and enjoy capturing the amusing and endearing expressions of the animal. I departed a 20-year corporate career in 2006 to spend time on volunteer activities and art. I am now the proud mom to four former shelter dogs (a side benefit to volunteering at the shelter) and paint from my home studio (a remodeled carriage house in my backyard) and at the Ashland Art Center on Main Street.
Ten percent of my sales are donated to local animal rescue groups and charities where I am a volunteer - Jackson County Animal Shelter, Sanctuary One, and Equamore Horse Sanctuary. I am also a member of HeARTs Speak, the Ashland Gallery Association and The Canine Art Guild.
