Frenchie Print - Framed 12 x 12 - Cream Colored French Bulldog - French Bull Dog - 10% Proceeds to Animal Rescue This is a limited edition giclee (125 archival quality prints of various sizes on canvas and paper) of my original oil painting of a French Bulldog, "Tinkerbelle". This print measures 8 x 8 inches on thick watercolor paper; it was professionally printed by a local imaging company using Epson archival inks rated to last a lifetime, and comes with a certificate of authenticity which has been signed, numbered and dated by me. it's matted in a double mat, sandy beige with tumbleweed gray liner, and framed in a 12 x 12 inch black wood gallery frame (see second image). As with all of my work, 10% of the sales price is donated to animal rescue groups. For this piece, the donation will be made to Jackson County Animal Shelter in Phoenix, OR where I volunteer on Saturdays. Inspired Pet Portraits and Animal Paintings in Oil by Dana Feagin
I am an oil painter, focused completely on animal paintings - pets and other animals. I paint from photographs (they must be yours/mine/or others without copyright issues) in a realistic style on bold backgrounds, and enjoy capturing the amusing and endearing expressions of the animal. I departed a 20-year corporate career in 2006 to spend time on volunteer activities and art. I am now the proud mom to four former shelter dogs (a side benefit to volunteering at the shelter) and paint from my home studio (a remodeled carriage house in my backyard) and at the Ashland Art Center on Main Street.
Ten percent of my sales are donated to local animal rescue groups and charities where I am a volunteer - Jackson County Animal Shelter, Sanctuary One, and Equamore Horse Sanctuary. I am also a member of HeARTs Speak, the Ashland Gallery Association and The Canine Art Guild.
