Black Cat Card - Cat Art Postcard Greeting Card Combo - Black Cat With Purple Scrolls
This black cat card is made from a postcard featuring my original oil painting "Poof!". The postcard is attached to the front of the white card with black photography corners, and the title of the painting and my signature are under the image. The recipient of the card can remove the postcard and sent to another friend! Information about this, and about the original painting of Poof, a cat available for adoption in 2010 at a local shelter, is printed on the backside of this card. The inside of the card is left blank for your own personal greeting. The card measures 5 x 7 inches, comes with a matching white envelope, and is packaged in a cellophane envelope for protection. As with all of my work, 10% of the sales price is donated to animal rescue groups and charities. For this print, the donation will go to the Jackson County Animal Shelter, where I am also a volunteer The original painting of "Poof!" (measures 16 x 20 inches and is framed in a black frame with gold liner measuring approximately 24 x 28 inches) is also for sale, just convo me for information. I am an oil painter, focused completely on animal paintings - pets and other animals. I paint from photographs (they must be yours/mine/or others without copyright issues) in a realistic style on bold backgrounds, and enjoy capturing the amusing and endearing expressions of the animal. I departed a 20-year corporate career in 2006 to spend time on volunteer activities and art. I am now the proud mom to four former shelter dogs (a side benefit to volunteering at the shelter) and paint from my home studio (a remodeled carriage house in my backyard) and at the Ashland Art Center on Main Street.
Ten percent of my sales are donated to local animal rescue groups and charities where I am a volunteer - Jackson County Animal Shelter, Sanctuary One, and Equamore Horse Sanctuary. I am also a member of HeARTs Speak, the Ashland Gallery Association and The Canine Art Guild.
