Cow Magnet - White Cow with Polka Dots - Cow Art - Ten Percent Benefits Animal Charity This sweet cow magnet features my original painting "Cream", a white Charolais cow from Sanctuary One in Jacksonville, OR. She is a retired blood donor cow, who is now happily retired at the sanctuary. This animal art magnet is the perfect small gift for the cow lover - for the fridge, file cabinet or locker! The magnet measures approx. 2 x 3.5 inches tall and is made from an image of my oil painting on matte cardstock. The image is adhered to a magnetic backer which is hand-trimmed by me. It is enclosed in a cellophane wrapper and contains a note indicating that 10% of the purchase price is donated to Sanctuary One, the care farm where Cream resides. Please note that the image of my painting above is protected by copyright law. Any reproduction or copying of the image, or greeting card is illegal. This copyright will not transfer with the sale of this work. Note about shipping: I look for the most cost-effective shipping method for your purchase and refund shipping fees if you have overpaid by a dollar or more. I am an oil painter, focused completely on animal paintings - pets and other animals. I paint from photographs (they must be yours/mine/or others without copyright issues) in a realistic style on bold backgrounds, and enjoy capturing the amusing and endearing expressions of the animal. I departed a 20-year corporate career in 2006 to spend time on volunteer activities and art. I am now the proud mom to four former shelter dogs (a side benefit to volunteering at the shelter) and paint from my home studio (a remodeled carriage house in my backyard) and at the Ashland Art Center on Main Street.
Ten percent of my sales are donated to local animal rescue groups and charities where I am a volunteer - Jackson County Animal Shelter, Sanctuary One, and Equamore Horse Sanctuary. I am also a member of HeARTs Speak, the Ashland Gallery Association and The Canine Art Guild.
