Frontier Days Flag Frenzy (Cheyenne, Wyoming) Oil Painting - Fine Art Print On Canvas

Frontier Days Flag Frenzy (Cheyenne, Wyoming) Oil Painting - Fine Art Print On Canvas

$235

These festive flags remained after the conclusion of Frontier Days. They were constantly whipped around in the ever present Wyoming breezes. I painted this while situated down the street from the Capitol building and under the watchful and curious eyes of the Wyoming state employees. This is a limited edition museum quality reproduction (giclée) of my original oil painting. It is printed on 100% cotton canvas with archival inks and protected with UV resistant varnish. All prints are signed & numbered and come with a Certificate of Authenticity and care instructions. This image is 11" x 14" and has 2.5" black borders on all sides --- a finished size of 16" x 19". It is shipped un-stretched. The finished size allows for gallery wrap stretching on a 1 to 2" deep stretcher bar, and as a result, can be hung as is, in the contemporary style --- or framed in the traditional manner. It is placed on an acid-free foam-core board with an acid-free slip sheet on top to protect the image, and is secured in a self-sealing clear bag. "Flag Frenzy" is also available in other sizes on canvas and on 100% rag paper -- all within this limited edition. Please inquire if you are interested and you don't see them listed here. A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME. Ever since I watched my 5 year old brother captivate others with his whimsical, engaging clown drawings, I have been intrigued by the power of image making. It was fascinating to me (a year older) to witness his innate confidence and the sheer delight he experienced when he was creating, -- as well as seeing what he would come up with!

When I picked up my own crayons, I soon discovered an alternate world that one can disappear into when one is putting pencil, crayon, or paint to a blank support with the purpose of creating. This activity, for me, in combination with many road trips traveling and moving as a youngster became not only a ticket into an exploration of creative possibilities but it also provided a means for me to detach so that I could observe and sort out my small life's events while also taking note of and soaking up the world's wonder with my sponge mind.

As an admirer and painter of the landscape and figures, I often say that I am in the business of extending one's memories and special experiences. I render the sites of one's vacations and favorite locations as well as portraits of loved ones, human and animal.

WHAT I OFFER. I am a studio and plein air painter, proficient in oils, acrylic, my own style of mixed media (watercolor and colored pencil), and drawing media. I create originals and sell professionally created museum quality reproductions of my work on paper and canvas. I also create custom, oversize prints of my works on canvas for customers that I embellish personally (in effect, creating a new original that can be quite affordable for the size).

HOW I SERVE. I have worked with the public for many years and am particularly happy when I can listen, hear beyond the words, and deliver exactly, -- or above and beyond, what a customer is looking for. Finding ways to best deliver and please those with whom I collaborate is a huge pleasure for me.

The personal touch is integral to my offerings. Whether my art is created specifically for a customer or not, I interview the client about the space/environment of the new work's prospective home to pick up on the client's preferences and style (and especially if I am involved in the framing process). I often personally hang my completed works of art in my clients' homes.
