The Silver Tip Badger hair, meticulously hand graded and sorted, is the softest, rarest and most expensive pure white tipped Badger hair available. Our Silver Tip Badger hair is a beautiful, ultra soft, and flexible brush that will provide years of luxurious shaving. This type shaving brush typically sells for over $150! The wood brush handle is finished with five coats of ultra-hard lacquer ( similar to what is used on cars ), hand rubbed to a beautiful satin shine, then buffed with pure carnauba wax for our exclusive, silky feel. This meticulous process makes our wood brush handle impervious to moisture, preventing crazing, cracks, and discoloration that most wood shaving brushes are prone to. This seam ripper fits my hand perfectly. I do wish there was a little more contrast in the wood - more like the picture on the website; very little black and the stain was a little darker.
