This 35 star Civil War Union flag inlay design paired with a Civil War themed Gun Metal finish pen makes an extraordinary historic memento. Each of the thirty five tiny stars are perfectly formed and hand inserted into the field of blue. The alternating red and white stripes are made from curly maple and hand fitted to complete this spectacular tribute to those who fought for freedom for all. Remarkably detailed Model 1861 Springfield Rifle Musket for the pocket clip, a replica .58 caliber Minie' Ball used in the Springfield rifle for the pen cap, and a replica .44 caliber Colt Army bullet for the pen tip brings this important moment in history to the present. And with regards to performance, I already had a wooden pen with touch tip, but it lost inputs a lot on my tablet. Compared to that one this one is much better, it is super smooth to work with (and thinner too!).

This seam ripper fits my hand perfectly. I do wish there was a little more contrast in the wood - more like the picture on the website; very little black and the stain was a little darker. I do know that it is difficult to show all possibilities when working with wood; they are all different. Overall, I'm very pleased.
