The modeled design of the Shock Absorber is based on a shock absorber with a heavy-duty spring that actually articulates on the shaft of the pen for ultimate authenticity. A real conversation starter! Just twist off the cap of the to reveal a ballpoint pen. The cap then posts to the back. The black Ink refill is a Parker style refill. Shown is black Ebony wood body, chrome pen finish, with black enamel spring. Gun metal, and 24 ct gold springs are also available. And with regards to performance, I already had a wooden pen with touch tip, but it lost inputs a lot on my tablet. Compared to that one this one is much better, it is super smooth to work with (and thinner too!).

This seam ripper fits my hand perfectly. I do wish there was a little more contrast in the wood - more like the picture on the website; very little black and the stain was a little darker. I do know that it is difficult to show all possibilities when working with wood; they are all different. Overall, I'm very pleased.
