All products are built to last out of solid wood and sturdy metals. The finishes on products vary. Urethane finishes have a 10 year guarantee. Wax finishes are beautiful but need to be reapplied. They are not as impenetrable to staining, in particular stains from oils. Items that need to be returned due to construction defect will have the shipping cost refunded.
