Authentic burlap used from a burlap sack is loosely woven and very rustic. Chinese style Wedding Umbrella features bamboo frame, wooden handle and string mechanism. Parasol canopy measures 28 inches across and is supported by natural bamboo ribs.Parasol has 29 inch handle. Includes its own coordinated carrying bag. Minor variations may occur and adds to the uniqueness of the parasol. Parasols should not be used in the rain.

A large part of my business is custom and one of a kind parasols for weddings and suncover. My parasols can be handpainted on paper, handpainted on fabric, handsewn or a combination of these techniques.
I was inspired to make parasols during time I spent rebuilding in St Bernard Parish, New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina.
My parasols that incorporate a Fleur-de-Lis specifically represent my commitment to the area with a portion of sales goes to St Bernard Project (stbernardproject.org) for their continued efforts rebuilding the region.
The Fleur de Lis is a stylized lily. It represents Renew Rebuild Rebirth to those recovering from the flood.
