Studio established in 1999 and focuses on design and fabrication of custom window coverings, bedding, pillows and uniquely cultivated soft furnishings for the home. What sets me apart from others in this design field are my backgrounds in textile design and interior project management. Hand detailing and design collaboration are my specialities. My work is most recently published in House Beautiful July/August 2012 issue in the article titled "A Chic Little Beach House" featuring Erin Martin Design for whom I have the honor of working with regularly.
Being local and onsite is not always needed when tailoring custom soft home furnishings. I commonly work with professional installers and designers remotely to get accurate measures and even directly with home owners via multi media to produce furnishings sent countrywide.
For large scope projects it can be effective to travel to the home site, gather specifications and design inspiration and get back to work in my studio. Buyers also find it beneficial for me to be on site to supervise installation and tailor items to fill in/complete the feel of a home. These final touches many times happen organically and naturally at that moment in time.
