Gustav Stickley Model 512 Reproduction Bookcase
Unusual mission style bookcase first made by Gustav Stickley 1901-1904 (model number 56). It measures 30in x 60in x 12in deep. Only about six of the originals are known to still exist today. This reproduction is true to the original in every way, with the option of adjustable shelves instead of the standard fixed shelves. 1 inch thick sides and shelves, shiplapped board back, through "tusk" tenons, and hand hammered copper hardware are just some of the features. A seven step finishing process brings out the beauty of the quarter sawn white oak.
