Prairie Style Settle
Prairie Style settle in quarter sawn white oak 62 ½ X 34 X 29 high. This piece was built to fit a particular spot in my clients home, hence the odd width. It could be made slightly smaller or all the way up to a three cushion coach size. This piece is built to last generations, all mortise and tenon construction, the two sides are held together with massive 1 ¾ thick X 5 ½ wide timbers. The rope cushion support is very comfortable. Like all my furniture different woods are available, Cherry, Mahogany, or even Walnut would all look good. Leather or fabric cushions available, or just the wood if you have access to a good upholsterer.
