Herringbone Wire Wrapped Bracelet With Kyanite Beads
Beautiful kyanite square beads are individually wrapped with sterling silver wire using a herringbone weave technique. The individual units are linked together with two sterling silver jump rings. A sterling silver lobster clasp closes onto a hammered flat ring to complete the bracelet. Each stone is unique, but all display the silvery blue highlights for which kyanite is famous. Bracelet is approximately 7-1/2 inches long.

My artistic efforts grew out of an intense curiosity about the natural world. I love creating organic jewelry using primarily sterling silver and gemstones, but also including materials with a rich history, particularly African trade beads. I also create boxes of all kinds using Davey board (an archival bookboard) and papers from all over the world.
