Stunning, meticulously crafted equilateral triangular decorative box. Heavy-duty archival quality bookboard is hand cut, sanded and assembled using PVA adhesive. A single, uncut sheet of imported chiyogami paper from Japan covers the base. Matching Thai banana paper covers the interior bottom of the box. A triangular lid is covered in the same chiyogami paper and sports an additional layer covered in contrasting archival paper to guarantee a snug fit. The lid features a cotton ribbon pull for easy removal. Box sides measure 7-1/4 inches by 3-1/8 inches high. This box is a work of art unto itself, but may be used to story jewelry or other cherished items. This piece ships via USPS Priority Mail.

My artistic efforts grew out of an intense curiosity about the natural world. I love creating organic jewelry using primarily sterling silver and gemstones, but also including materials with a rich history, particularly African trade beads. I also create boxes of all kinds using Davey board (an archival bookboard) and papers from all over the world.
