The Old-Meets-New Denim Tote / Hand Painted / Hand Embroidered - Eco Friendly / On Sale Now
Express your individuality with this Old Meets New denim tote! Inspired by my personal interest in recycling clothing, art and love for embroidery, this tote was hand crafted from an old skirt and jeans. A colorful lining made from a gently used tiered cotton skirt has been attached inside with a newly made pocket for your keys or phone. An additional jean pocket was sewn to the back of the purse to provide a more secure pocket for other items. I finished off the tote with my hand embroidery using vintage embroidery thread handed down to me by my mother. I hand painted the flowers as well as the accents around the embroidered lettering. I hope that you'll choose my Old Meets New denim tote for fun picnics, weekend shopping trips, or an interesting graduation gift for a college-bound young lady or teen. As he tells it about me "all your taste is in your mouth!!" lol When he said he liked these gloves, I jumped on it knowing I would get something he really liked. The gloves look exactly like the picture! When I received them I was very pleased with the quality. They are made very well and I know he will put them to good use! Would definitely order again from Yarncoture and have a feeling that after his friends see them, I will be ordering more! Very, very pleased. Communication excellent! Delivered on date stated! Jan 3, 2014Maryum Karim was very informative and agreeable in my dealings with her. She was able to see my vision and work with me to create and prefect it. The resulting product was an extremely beautiful and stunning work of art that I expect to last me years. Despite the complexity of the project Maryum was able to work on a time table we outlined together and deliver during the holiday season.
