The Wonderland Brooch - Fiber Art Pin
In MY world flowers don't have to be pink, yellow or red….the centers don't have to be yellow either. Being a fiber artist allows me to design a flower in any color that I wish…allowing the wearer to express her reluctance to conform to the majority rules of fashion without uttering a word! Three puff flowers were crocheted and then clustered together with each flower boasting incredible hues on its petals. The centers have been embroidered with red, pumpkin and purple. Whisps of greenery lie beneath the flowers and everthing is finished off with a simple tie. A wonderful brooch to wear on your coat, jacket or favorite purse. Makes a wonderful anytime gift! Measurements - 7 inches long including greenery 4 inches wide Care - The yarn manufacturer recommends machine washing in cool water and laying flat to dry. I personally recommend hand washing in cool water and laying flat to dry for longevity.
