Acrylic on canvas mural, 3 panels 2' x 3' each inspired by Walt Disney's Bambi. Megan McKeithan included her client's favorite Disney Bambi characters along with a tiny Dinosaur Train inspired by PBS's series, and even a Peter Rabbit inspired by Beatrix Potter. Her client's little boy loved all the characters but she wanted to focus on a nature scene with animals like the ones they see in their back yard. As founder of Visionary Mural Company, I paint fine art murals and trompe l'oeil illusions, and create complete environments including custom faux finishes, decorative painting, and 3D props. I have also repaired and repainted murals and faux finishes for homes and museums.
I am based in Atlanta but work both on location and on canvas for installation anywhere, with my work in 48 cities around the country.
I often work with home owners, interior designers and architects on high end residential and commercial projects. While some of my work is featured in more traditional settings, I also enjoy creating just the right custom mural for transitional, modern and contemporary designs.
