Original John Singleton Mosby Pencil Portrait
You are purchasing an original pencil/acrylic portrait of John Singleton Mosby, best known as "The Gray Ghost". This portrait is #1 of 4 in "The Raiders" Series. It has been finished with the trademark of all my Civil War pieces by actually burning the edges once I completed the artwork. It was signed and dated, sprayed for protection, and shrink wrapped on cardboard upon completion for preservation. It measures 12" X 18". This piece of art will be shipped by removing from the shrinkwrap and placed in a cylinder for its protection during shipping. Shipping cost will include insurance up to $150.00. Born in the late 50's to a family of little
means of income, being resourceful was
a way of life. Whether playing on the red clay hills
of Pontotoc County, Mississippi, in the good ole
USA on imaginary quests or riding
our bike down gravel roads pretending to be in the circus,
life was always full of adventure.
Life has brought many hardships my way
but with each I have learned that only I limit myself.
Life is a challenge, of which I am a survivor
& a conqueror.
I love to be creative no matter what I'm doing.
God has blessed me with joy through sewing, writing,
sculpting, drawing, & also thru the simple things of
life.
My husband & I enjoy spending time
alone or with the house full of family.
I want to be the best that I can be
in whatever I am doing.

While preparing the product Kathy realized that there would have to be a slight change in the design it to work properly She immediately contacted me, explained the change and sought my approval before taking any further steps. She was a dream to work with and I couldn't be happier with the result. I can now use my great grandmother's sewing machine which has been sitting around for five years unable to be used … until Kathy provided the custom-made missing piece.
