"Dallas"Remake Wedding Gown
Dress from the past…. This was such a sweet little lady & I did her wedding back in the early "90's". She was retiring from teaching & had reunited with her college fiancé. They were both widowed & found each other after all those years apart. WHAT A LOVE STORY !!! He loved the dress Sue Ellen wore in the TV series "Dallas" & wanted hers to be like it. I went to New Orleans to market and found this exquisite silver galloon lace which had been flown over on the concord from Paris just for this market. I remember paying $100. Per yard at that time for it. I ran across a box when moving last month & found some of the lace neatly tucked away where I had saved it. If you have a dress you would like remade, I would love to take your project on. You, too, can make that special day in the dress of your dreams.

Born in the late 50's to a family of little
means of income, being resourceful was
a way of life. Whether playing on the red clay hills
of Pontotoc County, Mississippi, in the good ole
USA on imaginary quests or riding
our bike down gravel roads pretending to be in the circus,
life was always full of adventure.
Life has brought many hardships my way
but with each I have learned that only I limit myself.
Life is a challenge, of which I am a survivor
& a conqueror.
I love to be creative no matter what I'm doing.
God has blessed me with joy through sewing, writing,
sculpting, drawing, & also thru the simple things of
life.
My husband & I enjoy spending time
alone or with the house full of family.
I want to be the best that I can be
in whatever I am doing.

For Sewing machine belt5.0Kathy went above and beyond to assist with my project. While preparing the product Kathy realized that there would have to be a slight change in the design it to work properly She immediately contacted me, explained the change and sought my approval before taking any further steps. She was a dream to work with and I couldn't be happier with the result. I can now use my great grandmother's sewing machine which has been sitting around for five years unable to be used … until Kathy provided the custom-made missing piece. Thank you … you've given me a piece of my childhood back as I remember my great grandmother and grandmother every time I sit at the sewing machine.

She was in constant contact about progress, was able to finish the item and get it shipped in record time. The finished product was even better looking in person. If I ever need a custom item ever again, Kathy will be the one that I come to. She was understanding (my bank account was hacked at the beginning and she was patient as I dealt with the bank) and very friendly. I cannot recommend her enough!!

For Tunic dress.5.0Kathy was incredible throughout this project. She's clearly an experienced dress maker with an eye for detail and you won't be disappointed with her work. It happened that my dress shrank a bit after the initial wash and she asked me to send it back to her for alteration at no extra cost. Amazing!
