No matter what size you wear, if you like the cool feel of cotton, you will love this simple, but classy style. Sizes are not limited and can be made to fit from the smallest "0" to the largest 5X and beyond. This particular dress is made from soft cotton chambray that has been designed for soft, cool, cotton garments. HISTORY OF PEPPERED COTTON: "Peppered Cottons" is a twist on solids by Pepper Cory. This fabric is considered a shot cotton which essentially means that the threads in the warp and the weft are different colors. This helps to create an iridescent or chambray look which means that the fabric takes on different colors depending on the angle that you are viewing the fabric. There is no wrong or right side to shot cottons. Above all, shot cottons have a tactile hand-woven quality and display deep colors well since all threads are dyed prior to weaving. This fabric has green and light green threads woven together giving it a grass green color. It took 4 yards to make this larger size, but on smaller sizes requiring less fabrics, you can save a little money. Several colors are available in this peppered cottons. Pictured is a size 2XL and the cost is $135.00. Price increase for larger sizes requiring more fabric.
