The shirt is made from a wide wale corduroy with hand crafted leather toggles down the front. It consists of pleated sleeves with one (1) button cuffs. Two (2) oversized pockets are on the front chest and a two (2) part turn down collar. The front closure has the look of leather toggles, but is made with hidden separating zipper. The weight and texture of the corduroy was perfect, exactly what I wanted. In terms of authenticity you nailed it. When I put it on, at least in my mind, there was no mistaking that shirt!"Being a die-hard "Rifleman" fan, Edward had a very original project in mind. To his knowledge, never before had there been a remake of the popular corduroy shirt Chuck Conners wore in many of his films from the "Rifleman" TV series. When Chuck Conners played The Rifleman back in 1958-1963, he sported a well known wide welled corduroy shirt. There's a story behind this shirt that I did not realize until I did some research in the making. The embroidered leather loops in the front are cosmetic and the shirt actually buttons underneath. The white section in the crotch was to ensure the shirt stayed neatly in his pants while wrestling in one of his many fights or simply riding his horse. May 25, 2024I cannot express how happy I am! I needed a replica of Freddie Mercury's crown for a photoshoot and Kathy not only came through, she exceeded my expectations! She was in constant contact about progress, was able to finish the item and get it shipped in record time. The finished product was even better looking in person. If I ever need a custom item ever again, Kathy will be the one that I come to. She was understanding (my bank account was hacked at the beginning and she was patient as I dealt with the bank) and very friendly. I cannot recommend her enough!!
