Canine Roach Costume
When Belinda contacted me wanting this special little costume, I simply could not turn her down. With all the time in construction and the cost of supplies, you can see I did not do this for the money. Her original story brought laughter to my day and she had me captured from that moment on. Let me let you read it for yourself: How much do you think it would take to put together a cockroach costume for a tiny Chihuahua? It is for my elderly mother in law. Her "baby" ate cockroach poison and almost died. (we rushed her to the vet) I though this would be a fitting Halloween costume….. I actually made 2, the first one was way too large for the little thing and it was easier to start from scratch than to downsize the original one. So, if your puppy is about twice the size of this little puppy, one is already waiting on you to purchase and you can save by getting it for the price of the XSMALL $75. plus shipping. This little costume is designed of sturdy vinyl for the body, black glass for reality, and the wings are constructed of bendable wire hand covered in a brown tone fabric with metallic threads running through it to give that luster of the wings of a real roach. The legs and antennas are covered in light padding and lining fabric so they can be molded to place. Velcro straps are positioned beneath to add security to the fit and comfort to your pet. I DO NOT CHARGE HANDLING FEES, ONLY THE RATE CHARGED TO ME BY THE POSTAL SERVICE INCLUDING INSURANCE TO COVER THE PROJECT. ANY OVERAGE WILL BE REFUNDED AND ANY BALANCE DUE WILL BE INVOICED AT TIME OF SHIPPING.
