The long cape hooks on shoulders beneath the shorter cape which also connects on the shoulders. Each piece is designed to button down beneath the cloaked hood with military shoulder tabs. I used a 12 oz Brown StoneWashed Bull Denim Cotton Fabric which gave the buyer the feel he wanted for the time period he was in. You will also see this coat done in a brown stone washed version. When I tried it on, I couldn't stop smiling. My boyfriend even complimented on how great the outfit looks on me. The communication, detailed information, explanations for minor changes(to make things work), and skill were phenomenal!!!! She is very knowledgeable about what she's doing. I'm trying to control my happiness while I type this so I don't ramble. I got the outfit a week ahead of the deadline. When issues popped up(material, color, etc.), she knew just how to make things work. SHE EVEN DYED THE MATERIAL!!!! so I'd have the color I wanted. I can't say enough!!! Using today's slang, she slaaaaaayed!!!!! this outfit!!! She gets 10s across the board!!! If you want something made, she is the person to do it. I'm actually wearing my outfit while I type this because I don't want to get out of it. That's how much I love it.
