EVA Foam Helmet - One of a Kind. BRING YOUR SKETCH TO LIFE!!!! Now you can have your very own helmet created just for you and with quality that has only recently come available. EVA Foam is lightweight, durable, and allows ventilation through plastic net in certain areas. For Meatport, we chose ventilated eyes and mouth. The mouth is located at eye level and gives great vision area. The helmet sits on the head securely with a cap made into the inner lining of the helmet and has an adjustable strap so it can be tightened to your fit. I use only the thicker EVA foam for durability. Send me your ideas and we can begin creating a one of a kind product just for you. Price varies depending upon materials and labor required, but I will be happy to give you an estimate. To help you understand pricing, here is a little of what goes into working with EVA Foam. 1. Create your pattern 2. Cut your foam sections 3. Sand all cut areas 4. Glue all sections - wait several hours 5. Use heat gun to smooth surfaces 6. Sand all seams 7. Prime entire area 8. Paint…..Usually 3 - 4 coats with minimum of 1 hour drying between each coat 9. Clear Coat entire area 10. Cut, paint, and insert all ventilation areas 11. Cut and make inner head to fit on head I hope this helps you to understand the cost in making your special EVA Foam project. S/H I do not charge handling fees, only the rate charged by the shipper to ship including insurance to cover the project. In shipping this helmet to Meatport within the U.S., the shipping was very minimal because of the lightweight finished product. It was around $20. REMEMBER: Shipping rates are based on weight, box size, and destination, so each is different. I charge upfront $20 for U.S. shipping and $35 on international but if your rate is more, I will invoice you the balance of shipping at time of shipping.
