This item is a hand tooled leather bound blank book colorfully and ornately decorated in a medieval manner. Measuring 4-1/2" by 6" and a little over an inch thick, it has 120 4-1/4" by 5-1/2" leaves (240 pages) of 20 lb. Ivory bond paper. This is an ideal book to use as a journal, a book of shadows, diary, or whatever else you can think of. With the exception of the three decorative rivets on the front clover, there is no metal used in the construction of this book, binding is done with lacing with the lacing binding the pages forming a bookmark. The pages do not look machine cut and convey craftsmanship of a pre-industrial era. This book can be custom made per customer wishes. Elements can also be incorporated into another project altogether.
