$115

--- Important Note: This has been sold, please send me a message if you're interested in having a similar one recreated --- This unique upcycled light will be perfect for your desk, end table, home office, kitchen or wherever you'd like to place it. This was assembled from scratch, it was assembled using electrical conduit, a reused glass jar and some bits and bobs to complete the assembly. The lamp has felt pads on the legs to avoid scratches to the surface where it will be placed. All the wiring and electrical components are new, the power cord is heat resistant cloth covered wire. It stands 17" tall, 6" inches wide and about 11" deep and the fabric covered cord is about 4 feet long. The main light is controlled by a pull chain (the up side design was inspired by a fellow maker), it is fully functional and it looks so cool. The main light socket uses a standard base mini bulb.. The style is minimalist, industrial and modern.

This Maker has consistently demonstrated excellence in craftsmanship and customer service.

I have been creating unique lighting for several years now, I specialize in custom finishes and hard to find sizes and designs; if you need a specific design I will be happy to work with you to achieve the desired piece.

My finishes are done by hand on solid materials, I don't fake brass or copper finishes on steel; whenever I do custom finishes I do them on real metals, ie; copper, brass.

My work can be found around the globe and throughout the US and Canada, besides individual clients I also have worked with commercial clients such as: Bose - Remodel Moore - Kindred Interiors - C3 Group - We Came in Peace - Consort Homes - NYC Best Bars group - Orchard Lane Studio - KP Designs & Associates - Freiheit Arquitecture - Zio and Sons - Workshop Denver, Fearins | Welch Interior Design to name a few.

Artist Statement (my sculptural luminaries):

Jay Lana is a Florida based, self-taught artist who works with reclaimed materials to create award-winning, functional art.

Mainly guided by intuition, each unique piece he creates tells a story of time and place, the materials used in each piece provides it with qualities such as strength, grace, balance, and endurance.

He has worked from his own studio since late 2013, since then his pieces have been featured in art galleries, juried art festivals; as well as international and national publications.

His art is also sought after by private collectors nationwide as well as internationally.

He firmly believes that the collector's satisfaction is entirely in his hands, thus he strives for a high level of integrity in his work.
