Revamped Aluminum Shade Lamp
This revamped work lamp will be perfect to place above your desk, work table, home office wall, or wherever you'd like to place it. This revamped aluminum lamp is assembled from scratch and the shade was sanded thoroughly and painted with two coats of high quality anti rust paint. The light socket was replaced with a new one and has been wired with a cloth covered power cord. The power cord has a feed through switch on the cable for added convenience. It can be customized to be hardwired with a matching canopy, message me if you would like that option. This listing includes a steel wall hook and an anchor to be installed on a ceiling, the light bulb is not included due to shipping restrictions. I have been creating unique lighting for several years now, I specialize in custom finishes and hard to find sizes and designs; if you need a specific design I will be happy to work with you to achieve the desired piece.
My finishes are done by hand on solid materials, I don't fake brass or copper finishes on steel; whenever I do custom finishes I do them on real metals, ie; copper, brass.

Artist Statement (my sculptural luminaries):
Jay Lana is a Florida based, self-taught artist who works with reclaimed materials to create award-winning, functional art.
Mainly guided by intuition, each unique piece he creates tells a story of time and place, the materials used in each piece provides it with qualities such as strength, grace, balance, and endurance.
He has worked from his own studio since late 2013, since then his pieces have been featured in art galleries, juried art festivals; as well as international and national publications.
His art is also sought after by private collectors nationwide as well as internationally.
He firmly believes that the collector's satisfaction is entirely in his hands, thus he strives for a high level of integrity in his work.
