If you are looking for a unique, impossible to duplicate piece of functional art, then look no further! This light will be perfect for your desk, end table, home office, or wherever you'd like to place it. I have assembled this beautiful piece from scratch, all parts were cleaned individually without altering the patina where existing, all the metal has been treated with rubbed wax to seal it and prevent further corrosion. All the wiring and electrical components are new. The cord is about 5 feet long and it is heat resistant cloth covered wire. The light bulb is not included. Replacements available upon request. This sconce can be done in several different configurations and colors, contact me for customization info and pricing.
A Maker who has been a valued part of this community for several years.
Customers say that this Maker ships promptly after completing a project.
This Maker has consistently demonstrated excellence in craftsmanship and customer service.
I have been creating unique lighting for several years now, I specialize in custom finishes and hard to find sizes and designs; if you need a specific design I will be happy to work with you to achieve the desired piece.
My finishes are done by hand on solid materials, I don't fake brass or copper finishes on steel; whenever I do custom finishes I do them on real metals, ie; copper, brass.
My work can be found around the globe and throughout the US and Canada, besides individual clients I also have worked with commercial clients such as: Bose - Remodel Moore - Kindred Interiors - C3 Group - We Came in Peace - Consort Homes - NYC Best Bars group - Orchard Lane Studio - KP Designs & Associates - Freiheit Arquitecture - Zio and Sons - Workshop Denver, Fearins | Welch Interior Design to name a few.

For Custom Walk-in Closet LightJay made a beautiful custom light for our walk-in closet. He took requirements & specifications from our designer and provided the perfect solution for the oddly positioned electrical box. Light was well constructed, expertly shipped, and reasonably priced.

For custom wall sconceJay was terrific. He was responsive, patient and accommodating. I had asked him to replicate something that I had seen on a site and he was spot-on. I highly recommend Jay and Retro Steam Works and I will definitely reach out to him again in the future.
