Hand Painted Tuscan Inspired Stepstool

Inspired by the rustic elegance and well-worn history of Tuscany, this hand painted, solid hardwood step stool is ready to give you a little boost wherever you might need it! Although it is brand new and sturdily constructed, the hand distressing gives this piece a comfortably worn look--the stool looks as though layers of soft gold and antique white paint are slowly being worn away to reveal the dark wood underneath. The sides are adorned with a hand painted fruit-and-grape-leaf motif that appear carved right into the wood. A vivid red cloth with a green and gold vine pattern drapes artfully on the top step, it's folds so realistically rendered it just might fool you! Lovely and useful, this is an accent piece to treasure for years. Commissioned by a client for use as a kitchen stool, this can be customized just for you--each piece is one of a kind and made to order. I use only non toxic acrylic paints, and the entire piece has been sealed with non toxic polyurethane for durability and easy clean up. I use solid hardwood step stools by Maywood Furniture. Each piece is signed and numbered for authenticity. Please allow 10-12 weeks for completion of project.

For Keepsake Box, Memory Box, Treasure Box5.0If you want a very special gift for a child or grandchild this is the place and the person who can do that for you. She is talented, good natured, imaginative, and devoted to doing a wonderful job on your project. I cannot speak highly enough about Lara and her work. I have ordered three treasure chests so far and hope the grandchildren just keep coming so I can order more. Another idea would be to make one for yourself to store all the wonderful souvenirs, tickets, menus etc. from a special trip. I know she will make the best souvenir you can buy with pictures of the holiday location so inside is all the stuff collected there and outside fabulous original pictures of that place. I think I will do that for myself.

For Keepsake Box, Memory Box, Treasure Box5.0Lara was terrific to work with. In record time she created two large treasure chests for my granddaughters which they have already fallen in love with. They are two and four and wanted a place for their treasures. The decoration was chosen by my daughter-in-law and Lara did a bang up job putting all the ideas into the design. I have already ordered a third box for another granddaughter who is three. This is such a lovely idea. It is something they will keep forever with their childhood treasures.
