Maple Nightstand Chalk Painted
This nightstand was a fixer-upper and not an original piece, but none the less I think projects my aesthetic sensibility. First I painted the drawer front a chocolate color in matte milk paint and glazed the knob a copper color. It just so happen that Annie Sloan's chalk paint emperors silk fit perfectly with the patina on the maple as well as the chocolate coloring of the drawer front. The pictures show it on a wenge floor in front of a wall painted ben moore's Hale Navy. Although this was a one a of a kind piece, I am confident I could replicate it.
