Barrio Garden Ceramic Shrine Wall Piece.
This ceramic sculpture is a shrine hand built with high fire clay and decorated with high fire glazes of bright colors. Inspired by the barrio gardens throughout a southwest border city, I have created a piece that honors nature, growing things and things of the spirit realm. An angel guards the garden with butterflies, bugs, an flowers. Above the angel is a scripture written on the head board, Isaiah 58:11 It's very unique and is adorned with a lot of detail. I am a ceramic artist. I sculpt, hand build, throw on the wheel, and design hand made tile. Some of my work is functional, some is for art's sake. All of it is my passion and a gift from God.
I have 30 years of experience in clay alone. I consider myself a person that can do anything (in clay). I have many years experience in custom work, working together and creating one on one designs for clients. My designs are fun and whimsical and I enjoy making people smile. I am all about original. My inspirations come from gardens, nature, southwest desert, and other peoples art or creations.
In all my years in business, I have never had anyone complain, or need me to come back to fix something, or return a custom piece. I have letters of referrals and note cards of overjoyed thanks.
