Thrown on the wheel this clay crab, is then hand- built with claws, a bow tie, beady eyes and a captain"s hat to boot! This is one of a kind and full of character. But wait there is more! This sugar/ sauce bowl has a claw that you can actually use. It couples as a whimsical dipping spoon for sugar, salt, salsa, honey or jelly. See photos. It is complete with 3 parts, the top, container and claw/ spoon. It measures, 4.5" H x 6" W x 5" D. It is hand painted and decorated with high fire glazes and fired multiple times. It is signed by Robin and made in Tucson, Arizona.

I am a ceramic artist. I sculpt, hand build, throw on the wheel, and design hand made tile. Some of my work is functional, some is for art's sake. All of it is my passion and a gift from God.
I have 30 years of experience in clay alone. I consider myself a person that can do anything (in clay). I have many years experience in custom work, working together and creating one on one designs for clients. My designs are fun and whimsical and I enjoy making people smile. I am all about original. My inspirations come from gardens, nature, southwest desert, and other peoples art or creations.
