Barrio Garden 1 Ceramic Santos/ Shadow Box.

$315

Barrio Garden 1 Ceramic Santos/ shadow box. Ceramic shrine built like a shadow box with hand applied angel, candles, flowers, stars, plants, and a framed scripture reading Isaiah 58:11. This was built by slab with high fire clay and glazed with high fire glazes. It is very textural with an earthy red/brown back ground. All the images are low relief sculpted onto the box. The angel carries a bronze colored cross and the bronze fans frame the head board. This is perfect for an intimate garden setting. This piece was labor intensive but it shows my adoration for gardens and nature. It measures 12" h x 9" w x 2" d. It can be hung or set on a shelf indoors or out. Made in Tucson, AZ by Robin Chlad.

I am a ceramic artist. I sculpt, hand build, throw on the wheel, and design hand made tile. Some of my work is functional, some is for art's sake. All of it is my passion and a gift from God.

I have 30 years of experience in clay alone. I consider myself a person that can do anything (in clay). I have many years experience in custom work, working together and creating one on one designs for clients. My designs are fun and whimsical and I enjoy making people smile. I am all about original. My inspirations come from gardens, nature, southwest desert, and other peoples art or creations.

In all my years in business, I have never had anyone complain, or need me to come back to fix something, or return a custom piece. I have letters of referrals and note cards of overjoyed thanks.
