This is part of the Seed Pod series for 2012 that I am working on. Here is my attempt at portraying a pretty display of the lotus with it's pod. Each pedal is individually placed. Each pod is meticulously designed to capture the details of nature. Well, anyway, I had fun! It is sculpted with a high fire clay body and glazed within a house frame. The colors are carefully chosen to make images pop. It is another unique design that is one of a kind made by Robin Chlad in Tucson, AZ. It measures 10"h x 4.5"w x 2" d. It is pre-wired for easy hanging. It is displayed on an easel which is not included in the price. You may purchase it separately.

I am a ceramic artist. I sculpt, hand build, throw on the wheel, and design hand made tile. Some of my work is functional, some is for art's sake. All of it is my passion and a gift from God.

I have many years experience in custom work, working together and creating one on one designs for clients. My designs are fun and whimsical and I enjoy making people smile. I am all about original. My inspirations come from gardens, nature, southwest desert, and other peoples art or creations.
