Walnut Jewelry Box
This walnut jewelry box was a commissioned piece for a birthday present. The box has five levels and is made of solid walnut, plywood, walnut veneer, and walnut burl veneer. The bottoms of the drawers and the top compartment are all flocked. Our customer had sent us a rough sketch. He was interested in making a jewelry box that was asymmetrical and different. We think we achieved what he had in mind. It was a very interesting and technically difficult project that was fun to do.

Laughing Coyote Woodworks
Laughing Coyote Woodworks is a small woodworking business that makes its home in the Green Mountains of southwestern Vermont. Roy learned his craft from his father, Klein, who shared his lifelong love of wood and handcrafted furniture and accessories with his son. When Klein died in 1990, Roy inherited his tools and has been mastering his craft ever since.
If it's made out of wood, we can create it. If you can imagine it, we can build it! We've built caskets, industrial fixtures, speakers, doors, a music box shaped like a Bible; the list goes on.
