Custom Cremains Urn
This box was built as a cremains urn for a beloved pet dog named Raven. The owners wanted Roy to use dark wood and to carve a Coast Salish raven on the side of the box as well as Raven's name on the top. This is the result. The urn is made of walnut; Roy used an ebony stain to make it darker. It's finished with polyurethane. The box is approximately nine inches long, four inches wide, and six inches tall.

Laughing Coyote Woodworks
Laughing Coyote Woodworks is a small woodworking business that makes its home in the Green Mountains of southwestern Vermont. Roy learned his craft from his father, Klein, who shared his lifelong love of wood and handcrafted furniture and accessories with his son. When Klein died in 1990, Roy inherited his tools and has been mastering his craft ever since.
