About the Artist:

R. Scott Jarvie has successfully explored and created several forms of art during his lifetime. Many of his pieces, including paintings and drawings, have been inspired by nature and Native American life. Scott received his first “Best of Show” award at age 15. In 1970, he began sculpting wildlife and opened his own art foundry to produce his work.

About His Custom Door Business:

Since 2000, Scott and his children have operated a custom door shop in Klamath Falls, Oregon. He has created more than 35 low relief sculptures, which have been placed in doors all over the country to create one-of-a-kind entry ways. Scott specializes in nature scenes and Western art, but he can work with any photograph to create the doors of your dreams. His panels can be placed in anything from 10-foot doors to kitchen cabinet doors to the front of kitchen bars.

Since moving to Oregon, Scott has found some of the most beautiful kinds of wood available to showcase his work, including black walnut, western big leaf maple, and exotic myrtle wood.
