Dogwood In Palest Pink Stained Glass-Industrial Flower Sculpture
Spring doesn't have to be here in order to have gorgeous dogwood flowers blooming! These beauties bloom year round. A pretty pale pink, white, clear opalescent glass is used for the soft petals. Three flowers on this branch with a few leaves, as if you went outside and cut a piece for yourself. The entire piece stands 18" tall and 7 1/2" wide. The branch is made of 1/4" copper. It sits in a clear glass pot filled with crushed glass and copper beads. The contents are covered in exopy resin so that it stays in the pot. The pot is 3 1/2"x 3 1/2" Inside the pot is an armature for the branch to sit in so that it can be removed for cleaning or to display some of my other flowers. An elegant centerpiece for window, table or patio. This piece is made in the Tiffany style, with hand cut glass, copper foil and solder. It is polished and waxed to a silver luster.
