This jacket was a wonderful surprise when I wove the material and washed it. The yarn is 50% wool and 50% silk with a smidge of fine mohair, making a very light weight, but warm fabric. And the Tangerine color is wonderful. This is a shawl collar spring jacket that hangs about 21" from the nape of neck in the back. The shawl collar hangs a little longer in the front which gives this design a wonderful flowing look. There is a dart on each side of the front for a good fit. The edges of the shawl collar and the bottom of the sleeves and body have been crocheted with a very fine mohair yarn in matching color. This unlined jacket weights a mere 15 oz. and would be a fantastic addition to your Spring wardrobe. I hope I can find the time to make myself one.

For striped fabricI am delighted with the fabric Barbara wove for me. It is exactly what I wanted, is easy to work with and launder, and the colors are beautiful. I will definitely go to Barbara again if I need more of the same fabric.
