Cherry Trestle Dining Table

This one of a kind piece was commissioned by a client who had (reluctantly) demolished a barn on the family farm. The 100+ year old barn was built entirely of old-growth cherry and was the last survivor of the original farm buildings. This table was the only "inheritance" the old home place had to offer, and now serves daily as the family table.

I take the timbers & moulings of yesteryear and craft them into the casework, tables, & architectural details that lend their rich texture and strength to the tighter, more energy-efficient buildings we build today.
