With a classic breadboard end and square teak pegs, this simple farm table has an air of refinement - despite the occasional rusty nail-hole. The timbers from which it was made were previously heavy timbers in a CrisCraft boatbuilder facility in Chattanooga, TN. The teak pegs were salvaged interior trim from a sunken CrisCraft.

After twenty years restoring and draft-proofing historic homes for owners & their families, it seems I don't encounter as many run-down, turn-of-the-century jewels as I used to…
But folks haven't lost their love of beautiful wood and skillful joinery.
I take the timbers & moulings of yesteryear and craft them into the casework, tables, & architectural details that lend their rich texture and strength to the tighter, more energy-efficient buildings we build today.
By blending the old and new in different ways, we can embrace the modern efficiency we must achieve, without sacrificing the comforting style of Home.
I enjoy the process as much as the finished piece, from meeting and getting to know my clients, to designing pieces for their unique needs and preference. It's a journey we take together - it starts with sharing an idea, and grows into a custommade relationship between you, your home, and me.
