Carved Esherick Music Stand
Based on a piece by Wharton Esherick currently located in the Yale University Art Gallery. This version is built from walnut featuring hand carved components is set at a comfortable height/pitch for a standing musician. The shelf releases and allows the rear leg to fold flat for easier maneuvering/storage. A secondary ledge is also included to allow space for pencils, with small handmade pegs on each side to hold a bow.

Delta Black Custom Woodworking
Good Morning. My name is Matthew White and I've been a woodworker since 1998. I'm mostly self-taught and I've been adding to my skills ever since.
By day I'm in the Air Force and I found woodworking to be an excellent creative release. It's also given me the opportunity to give back to those who have served.
I've burned murals for conference centers, built shadow boxes for retired Chiefs, and had my work grace offices in Washington D.C. I've had my work presented to Colonels and Airmen completing basic training.
It has been an awesome experience to share and I'm always open to a new project or challenge.

I am thrilled to have met Matthew White as a result of this project, and can't say enough good things about all its aspects. Matt is a true artist, a fabulous craftsman, and a person of great ethic and integrity. Aside from his expert craftsmanship, he went above and beyond to ensure he had all the details of the desired outcome and communicated exceptionally well as the project progressed, giving status updates along with photos of the work in progress. Five of five stars across the board - I would definitely work with Matt again! You will be glad you did too!
