Large Plywood Laminate Egg

Le Egg is a very unique piece made from scraps of baltic birch and maple plywood. It is layered and sanded to show the variations in color from stripe to stripe. The colors shown in the pictures illustrate how the piece looks in different lighting. The stand is painted black wood with felt patched arms to ensure the egg surface isn't scratched when moved. The egg stands 46 inches tall and has a width of 21 inches and weighs approx 57 pounds. If you are interested we can different types of wood, or different stains.
